| Mel Riggs Position: Director Mr. Riggs has served as Senior Vice President - Finance, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer of Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: CWEI) since 1991, and as a Director since 1994. Since 1989, Mr. Riggs has served as Manager of Finance of the Williams Companies. From 1984 to 1989, Mr. Riggs was initially employed as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of ClayDesta Communications, Inc., an affiliate of Mr. Clayton Williams, and thereafter as Vice President of Finance of Advanced Telecommunications Corporation, which acquired ClayDesta Communications, Inc. in March 1989.
