| Dr. Neil Apak Position: Geology Neil joined TransAtlantic in connection with the Incremental Petroleum acquisition. Neil has over 25 years of experience as a Petroleum Geologist at TPAO, the national oil and gas company of Turkey. His basin experience includes the Salt Lake Basin (SE Turkey), Andaman and Martaban (Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar), and the Central Anatolian Tertiary basins (Turkey). He specializes in basin analysis, exploration & development geology in both oil and gas fields, carbonate rocks (including dolomitic reservoirs), diagenesis and core analysis, sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, amongst several others. His work has been published in numerous scientific papers. Neil received his M.Sc. from the University of Istanbul, and a 2nd M.Sc. in Carbonate reservoirs from the CSM/WMU in the United States. He received a Ph.D. in petroleum geology/basin analysis from Adelaide University. | |
